Installation Instructions

To install the Authoring software:

• Double-click pfweb_author.exe to begin the install program.
• The default directory is c:\perception - you can choose a different directory.
• Copy the 00105.lic license file to your c:\perception directory on your computer and rename "license.lic" to "license.old". This will update your software so that it is fully licensed.

The Authoring Software contains two different pieces of software:

• Question Manager is used to create a database of questions and answers.
• Session Manager is used to organize quesitons into tests or surveys, which are also stored in a database.
